Whitewater Foundations Course

Service Description

This is the class where you will really begin to feel what it is like to flow with the river and experience a setting that land locked friends haven't seen - there is no feeling like it! This course is the successor of the Intro to whitewater course. Take it solo to enhance the basic skills you have, or pair this up from the Intro to Whitewater class to spend an entire weekend on the water learning how to get started with the world of whitewater! The course will run 4-6 hours including equipment outfitting, shuttle to venue, and the course itself This foundations course will dive deeper into Carving and Edging Peel Outs, Eddy Turns, and Ferries Boat Based Rescues Bracing, Hip Snaps & the building blocks of the Roll River Hydrology Scouting Rolling fundamentals We will take these skills to the river to practice and refine what we have learned!
